Trecia J. Oster

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Trecia Oster. Born on September 20, 1951, Trecia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. Her kind and loving spirit touched the lives of everyone she met, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Trecia had a deep love for genealogy. She took great joy in sharing stories and remembering her relatives from Tennessee. She had a special talent for remembering birthdays and never missed an opportunity to send thoughtful cards to those she cared about. Her presence at her grandchildren's sporting events was a source of pride and joy, as she cheered them on with unwavering support. She was preceded in death by her parents: A.B Dixon and Doris (Brasher) Dixon; loving stepmother, Joyce Dixon; and sister, Lori Backer. Survivors include her sons: Derek Callison of Wright City, Missouri, Ian Callison of O’Fallon, Missouri, Aaron Callison of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, and Trevor (Stefanie) Oster of St. Charles, Missouri; daughters: Lissa (Jake) Williams of St. Charles, Missouri, and Brittney Williams of O’Fallon, Missouri; brothers: Mike (Barb) Dixon of Camdenton, Missouri, and Billy (Barb) Dixon of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; sisters: Kathy (Kenny) Gibbs of St. Charles, Missouri, and Robin (Paul) Bloebaum of Waterloo, Illinois; grandchildren: Ben, Kylie, Phoenix, Jaiden, Brooke, Cohen, Gavin, Beckett, Ava, Cora, Delaney, and Jude. She also leaves many other loved children that she considered her own. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2800 Elm Street, St. Charles, Missouri. Funeral services and ceremonies to honor Trecia's life will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and legacy. Burial of her cremated remains will take place on Friday, Following services at Valhalla Cemetery, 7600 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, Missouri, 63133.
