Tolman, Arlene L. (nee VanBerg), aka …Bobbi, of Maryland Heights, MO passed away on January 7, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Kym Tolman, and sisters, Valaree(Bernie) Whitter and Beverlee Sacks, and nieces, Leslie, Melanie, Lori, Bryna, Stephanie, Jade, and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Dorine VanBerg, husband, Richard, daughter, Ricki, sister, Minette(Gerald) Carr. She taught GED classes at Pattonville along with English, Literature, French, Comparative Cultures, and Speech & Drama. She retired from teaching at Holman Middle School in 1999. She believed that every student, be it child or adult, had potential and she helped many to reach it. Services will be private. Memorials can be made to the ASPCA or The Humane Society.
