LIFE REFLECTIONS Deborah Clark passed away early Saturday early morning, May 18, 2019 in Belleville, Illinois at the age of 65 from cancer. She battled and beat cancer four times and lived a full life over 20+ years after being diagnosed. Deborah’s parents Mary Lou Clemons(Jesse Clemons) and Henry Odom, grandparents Guy and Lula Odom and Charles and Annie Gilliam, and her brother Patrick Odom all preceded her in death. Deborah was born in Independence LA. She graduated from High School in 1971. Deborah worked and retired from Christian Northeast Hospital. She also worked several years for McDonnel Douglas and Harrah’s Casino. Deborah enjoyed life and enjoyed travelling. After retirement she spent time volunteering at Katie Wright Elementary School in East St. Louis, IL. She leaves behind her daughters, Lakiessha Christian from VA and Alexandria Christian from FL, a very loving granddaughter, Sonsere Christian form VA, two sisters, Cheryle Sedik(Malik Sedik)from IL and Corliss Webb(Paul Webb) from OK, a baby brother, Victor Odom(Cynthia Odom) from MO, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She never stopped smiling and always was full of life. Her last words were “I’ll be okay in a couple of days” because she knew God is real. Deborah fought a good fight and now she is at home with the Lord. Deborah will truly be missed.
