Mrs. Faye Evelyn Tuttle

Faye Evelyn Tuttle passed away after a difficult year of illnesses, in Chicago, Illinois at the age of 89. Faye, is survived by her children, Paula Tuttle Mahoney and Bob of Chicago, IL ; Robert Perry Tuttle and Lisa of Ft. Collins, CO; her grandchildren Michael Brian Grant and Dana of Chicago, IL; Matthew Robert Peter of Chicago, IL, Robert Jackson Tuttle of Ft. Collins, CO; her greatgrandchildren, Deacon Brian Grant and Harlan Riley Grant of Chicago, IL; her niece Paula Suzanne Tanner Brewer of Hohenwald, TN and William Alan Ligon of Austin Texas. Faye is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lewis Tuttle, her parents Andrew Clyde Pace and Sally Pauline Sisco Pace, her siblings Betty Lou Tanner and Andrew Graham Pace; niece, Judith Tanner. Faye was born on February 18, 1928 in Hohenwald, TN. to Clyde and Pauline Pace. She graduated from Lewis County High School in 1945 at the age of 16. Her first job was working for General Shoe Company in Hohenwald, TN, placing shoe strings in shoes in the Packing Department. She married Robert Lewis Tuttle, a graduate of the Navy Cadets and Vanderbilt University on October 29, 1949, at the Methodist Church in Hohenwald, TN. After marring they relocated to Nashville, TN, the beginning of many relocations for her husband’s jobs. Finally landing in St. Louis, MO in April 1951, where they began their family, six years later. Her deepest values were to have served her family with love and by example, this she said was her only purpose in life and to be remembered for this was most important to her. A celebration of her life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., April 21, 2018 at Valhalla Chapel in St. Louis MO.
