Hazel E. Kleine

June 19, 1923 - May 5, 2021

Hazel was born in Bloomington, Illinois on June 19, 1923 to Jasper and Hannah [nee Gilbert] Jones. She loved Cardinal Baseball, playing pinochle, and worked crossword puzzles with a frenzy. During WWII she worked on the assembly line building aircraft for Curtiss /Wright Corporation, then spent ten years at Southwestern Bell, and later trained tellers for United Missouri Bank. Survivors includes three sons: Stanley R, Sprigg, Michael [Colleen] Kleine, Gerry Sprigg [Cheryl Lewis]; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands: Stanley Sprigg and Frank Kleine; two sons: John Sprigg and Stephen Kleine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
