James John Perkins

March 28, 1930 - October 28, 2020

James John "Jimmy-John" Perkins was born in Florissant, Mo to Perry and Elizabeth [nee Loesker] Perkins. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and later was a fireman, but specialized as the Chief Deputy Engineer for the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District. He married Mary Juliene Dorf, and to this union were born four children. Survivors include three children: Sara Sutberry, Donna [Sam] Piskulic, James [Tammy] Perkins; seven grandchildren: Rita [Nick] Ross, Stacy Crowley, Krista [Ian Lenz] Klaesner; James MCCann, John Phillips, Alex Phillips, Jennifer Kern.; four great grandchildren: Nick McKenzie, Caleb Kratz, Dylan Rountree, Juliene Rountree; sister-in-law Rose Ann[Mike] Frazier; and nieces and nephews: Sally [Jim] Wolfrom, Cindy Perkins, and John [Diane] Perkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter: Rose McCann; and a brother: Lou Perkins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society.
