Barbara J. Biondo Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Barbara passed away peacefully on July 15 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 87 years old. She was born in Imboden, Arkansas to Lloyd and Agnes [nee McKnight] Archer. She late married Frank Biondo and spent her life working as a Librarian for the Ferguson Public Library. She loved to read [thus her love of books and sharing them with others]; she enjoyed going out to dinner and shopping, and almost daily engaging in a 2-3 hour Skype call with the daughter in Australia. She was a member of the Blessed Theresa of Calcutta Catholic Church in Ferguson, MO. Survivors include her children and spouses: Terri [Mark] Morris, Tom [Linda] Biondo, Dan [Lesley] Biondo, and Margie [Peter] Miner; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ron [Jackie] Archer, Steve [Lou]Archer; sister-in-law: Jean Hinds; brother-in-law: Joe Biondo; and many wonderful friends. SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25 at Valhalla Chapel of Memories from 2 pm-3 pm; with Funeral Ceremony to follow at 3 pm; Father Larry Herzog will officiate.
