Rick Edward Moore

Rick Edward Moore, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, at the age of 79. Rick was Born on October 7, 1945, and spent his entire life in the city he loved, creating memories and friendships that will last forever in the hearts of those who knew him. Rick graduated from Pattonville Senior High School in 1963, then, among other jobs, dedicated 34 years to working at the Chrysler plant in Fenton, MO. Rick’s life was marked by love and dedication. He married the love of his life, Donna, on May 15, 1965, and together they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage until Donna’s passing in July 2020. Together they raised a beautiful family full of love, happiness and puppy dogs. His family (including all their fur babies) was his greatest treasure. His best friend, especially since Donna died, was his beloved dog, Coco, who he loved more than life. He spoiled her like crazy, and she was just as dedicated to him right until the very end. Rick was a man who never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone, leaving a trail of laughter and warmth wherever he went. Rick’s favorite meal was breakfast, which he could have morning, noon or night. He thoroughly enjoyed his twice-a-week breakfast “dates” with his buddy, Larry Sheffer, whom he had known since their school days. Rick was a lover of all sports, especially Cardinal Baseball. He played baseball when he was younger and was his daughters’ Softball Coach for many years at St. Jude. He also enjoyed participating in Fantasy Baseball. He loved old westerns, and found a channel dedicated to western movies and shows, which he watched whenever there was not a game on. Rick is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Lily Moore, wife, Donna Moore , daughter Heather Eagar and nephew Kerry Pinnell . He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Schuster, sons-in-law Joe Schuster and Eb Eagar, and grandchildren, Aidan Eagar, Sierra Schuster, Colton Eagar and Zachary Schuster. He is also survived by his sisters Lin (Brian) Jacobsen, Connie (Dean) Pinnell, and Dawn (Darrell) Mead, as well as his niece Madison (Maddie) Mead and nephews Corey Pinnell and Max Mead.
